Oct. 10, 2018 - 49ͼ Tech's Dental Assistant program has moved to the Advanced Education in General Dentistry building at Wichita State.

Oct. 1, 2018 -- As reported by the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR), KBOR's defined full time equivalent (FTE) for 49ͼ is 11,285, an increase of 1.6 percent over last fall's 11,109. For KBOR reporting purposes, full time is considered to be 15 hours for undergraduates and 12 hours for graduate students.

May 30, 2018 -- Spring 2018 brought an array of fun, diverse events to students at Wichita State.

May 17, 2018 -- Abdul-Mannaan Giles was selected out of 400 national entries to present his study about diagnosing early-stage Alzheimer's to members of Congress on Capitol Hill. He also presented his research project regarding aerobic exercise in early-stage Alzheimer's patients at the Harvard University National Collegiate Research Conference.

April 19, 2018 - 49ͼ physics professor Nickolas Solomey won one of NASA's coveted Innovation and Advanced Concept Awards (NIAC) for his research to create a neutrino detector for close sun orbit.
